Julian Kreimeier, PhD (Dr.-Ing.)

Bio
I joined the HEX Lab as postdoctoral researcher in September 2022. I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in medical engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. In my Ph.D. project at TU Dresden and TH Nürnberg, I have been researching human-computer interaction, especially accessibility, i.e., Virtual Reality, to support blind and visually impaired people. I am also author in projects and publications in transportation, urban planning, and communication of sustainability using Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). My research interests focus on applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and using AR/VR for user guidance through multimodal interaction.
